• The Philips HD 5 is an entry level economy shared service ultrasound machine. It has a flexible console that borrows many of the smooth workflow and ergonomic advantages of more expensive Philips units.

   

  The HD5 only offers a few probes, but has the option for full cardiac imaging in the most economical package Philips has ever made. The HD5 is a full-feature color ultrasound that offers exceptional image quality and a wide range of capabilities. It offers 256 (8-bit) gray shades in 2D, has a broadband digital beamformer, a wide dynamic range and digital beamformer, a wide dynamic range and digital focal tuning. HD5 features iSCAN one-button image optimization, multiple transduces ports and the choice of 4 imaging transducers. With a sleek and modern design, HD5 offers easy maneuverability and has a small footprint to fit in limited space. Its simple design and superior ergonomics allow you to stay focused to the patient.

   

  As part of the Philips HD ultrasound series – with every system being well-known for it’s cardiovascular applications, the HD 5 is no exception.
